WebMCP

WebMCP is a proposed web standard that lets a page hand typed tools to an AI agent running in your browser. Instead of scraping the page and clicking around, the agent just calls them.

It's in a Chrome origin trial. To try it locally, turn on chrome://flags/#enable-webmcp-testing and use the Model Context Tool Inspector extension, or any agent that speaks WebMCP.

Tools

  • get_profile

    Who Ignacio Gurí is: role, current work, location, languages, tech stack and contact links.

  • get_experience

    Ignacio's work history, newest first: companies, positions with dates, and a one-line summary of each role.

  • list_projects

    Ignacio's side projects from GitHub, with description, repo URL, live link and tech stack.

  • list_playground_apps

    Small runnable apps in the site's playground. Ones with a path can be opened with navigate, the rest live on their own url.

  • navigate

    Open a page of this site in the current tab.

  • set_theme

    Switch the site between light and dark theme.
